ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company Top Paints (Pty) Ltd was founded by Mr. W.F. Kriel in 1971. Experience gathered from working in paint laboratories paved the way into the paint industry.

The first paint manufactured was on a farm near Kliptown, south of Johannesburg. As the demand for paint grew, the owner moved to a small premise in Industria North.

During 1976 the present premise in Meyerton was built which was expanded during 2003. Since then the demand for factory space has increased and further expansions were completed during November 2005, 2008 and again in 2013.

We supply in the mining- and engineering industries and also provide paint for building contractors. Our capacity allows us to meet the demands of any customer. Top Paints retails directly to stockists.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Most paints contain flammable solvents and some contain materials which can harm the skin or damage your health if swallowed or inhaled.
The following measures should be taken:

• Wash hands with soap and warm water before meals.
• When using solvents and oil-based paints, remember that both is flammable, thus keep containers away from heat sources, never expose it to an open flame and keep the room well ventilated.
• Paint and all other related products should be kept out of reach of children and animals.
• In the event that paint or solvents come in contact with eyes or is ingested, seek medical attention immediately
