  • Touch Dry: 30 Minutes – 1 Hour @ 23°C
  • Recoating Time: 4 Hours @ 23°C
  • Spreading Rate: 3 – 5m² / litre , depending on porosity of surface and application 8 year guarantee

Ensure that surface is firm, clean and thoroughly dry before painting. Algae and fungal growth must be removed. Use a biocidal wall wash, allow on the surface for at least 1 hour then brush surface with a hard bristle brush. Rinse with running water until surface is thoroughly cleaned. Allow to dry. Use either Top Paints’ Roof Seal with membrane or Top Paints’ Fibre Seal with or without membrane to repair leaks, cracks, holes or defective flashing.

New Surfaces

Cement tiles, brick, fibre-cement:
Surfaces should be dry and free of loose particles. If powdery or friable, hose surface down with a high pressure water jet or scrub with a hard bristle brush and water. Allow to dry thoroughly. Apply Top Paints’ Bonding Liquid and allow to dry 24 hours. Apply two coats of Top Paints’ TREND ROOF & PAVING and allow to dry. Note that roof tiles should be left to weather for six months or more

 

Previously Painted Surfaces

Old paint in sound condition:
Clean surface and rinse thoroughly. Allow to dry thoroughly. Ensure that the old coating adheres to the substrate. Apply two coats of Top Paints’ TREND ROOF & PAVING.

Previously painted with solvent based product:
Apply Top Paints’ Universal Undercoat and allow recommended drying time.

Powdery surface:
Sand down and remove dust. Apply Top Paints’ Bonding Liquid and allow recommended drying time before applying intermediate and final coats. 

Fungal growth:
Remove fungal growth by using Top Paints’ Fungal Wash. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.

Previously Painted Surfaces

Strip and treat as new work.

Gypsum Plaster:
GYPSUM PLASTER IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR EXTERIOR USE.

Filling:
Use suitable and approved filler.

Packaging
5L and 20L (only standard colours)

Storage
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and severe cold Keep container sealed and avoid contact with moisture.
